The Museum is an integral component of the Wood Library-Museum. Its services
encompass the import, processing and export of anesthetic devices. A timeline
of anesthesia machines rings the perimeter with molecular mobiles hanging
overhead.
Unique permanent exhibits feature the discovery of curare, a display of
chloroform bottles, various laryngoscopes and an extensive collection of
anesthesia masks. A focal point of the Museum is memorabilia of Dr. Paul M.
Wood. Intrinsic to the Museum are prototype and representative anesthesia
equipment coordinated with the timeline.and development of anesthesia
machinery.
