Planning Your Visit to the Wood Library-Museum of Anesthesiology

When is WLM open?
The WLM is available for private or group tours Monday – Thursday from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM CT, by appointment only. The ASA building is not open to the public so please fill out this FORM to request a tour. While the ASA and WLM staff are currently working a hybrid schedule, please allow 24-48 hours notice of desired visit. Thank you for your understanding.

Do I have to wear a face covering?
Optional.

Is there an admission charge?
No.

Is WLM wheelchair accessible?
Yes.

Is WLM kid-friendly?
Appropriate age; Accompanied by adult.

What kind of materials are in the archives?
Archives of organizations, personal papers and ephemera.

Are there any restrictions on access to the collections?
Yes. HIPAA et al.

Are all of the archival collections digitized?
No.

Is there a finding aid to every collection?
No.
