Gillespie, Noel A.

Noel Alexander Gillespie was a British-born anesthesiologist and educator who trained at Oxford University and later joined the faculty of the University of Wisconsin under Ralph M. Waters. An early authority on airway management, he authored the influential textbook Endotracheal Anaesthesia and helped advance the practice and teaching of modern anesthesiology.
