Anesthesia Foundation

The Foundation was incorporated on September 12, 1956 as The Anesthesia Memorial Foundation, under the auspices of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). It was established to honor the memory of Rolland Whitacre and several prominent anesthesiologists who had died in that year. The Foundation is a non-profit organization, supported by the ASA and by donations.
